Destined for the International and National single-brand lines it offers optimal performance with medium-soft tyres. Its fluidity and curve-handling allow it to be driven to the limits while it is very sensitive to control.. |
Chassis and equipment
The chassis is made with 32 mm tubes and it has a conventional design with straight struts at the tank’s hight and the “C”s of the spindles anchored to the front crosspiece. The equipments include the magnesium wheels, the 50 axle (50x2x1040 F), all HQ Freeline components, as the pods with 09-14 Cik-Fia homologation. The eccentric bushing system is new and functional, as the modified “C”s of the spindles and the axle bearing boxes.
Brakes
The standard brake system is the “CX” Hydraulic model devoloped by the Birel racing division in agonistic field. It has a steel “W” disc (200 mm) in the rear side and there is also the front system as optional, with 150 mm steel discs and control on the steering wheel.

Monza ZY 32-A (KF)
The Monza ZY 32-A model is dedicated to the KF classes and, in general, to one-gear categories which allow the use of Cik-Fia homologated chassis.
It is produced with 32 mm tubes and has very traditional and proven design.
The Birel research centre has worked from the technical point of view on the chassis specifications, for tracks that have quite low grip, very common in national championships. While driving, it assures an excelent trade-off between the front and rear side and it is easy to find the best set up.
Among the most interesting novelties of the 2010 version, there are the “C”s of the spindles, which will be smaller and provided with a more functional eccentric bushing system, thanks to a 4 mm screw provided with references, able to ease the camber and caster adjustments. Moreover, the reinforcements on the rear bearing boxes, giving the chassis a higher fluency.
In the end, a new support of the seat has been introduced on the right side, in order to improve the trade-off of the chassis and the engine insertion. In the front, there is the standard outrigger bar.
The standard brakes (hydraulic plant CX) are mounted only in the rear, whereas in the front they availabel as optionals.
When it was projected, a great attention was paid to the design, with all blue anodized components, the pods design with the blue-orange livery and the steering wheel (320 mm) with the Monza logo.
